For the purpose of bettering the eighth grade and for setting a good example for both young and old, the eighth grade organized a project in their civics class. Several ways were set forth by the class in which its conduct could be improved, and one day each week reports were given by its members as to the progress. During the class tournaments it was the lot of this grade that the girls draw the seniors and the boys, the freshmen. After two hard fought battles the eighth grade teams were defeated. One of the jolliest parties of the school year was the one given by the seventh and the eighth grades this spring. Members from each class planned the games. R.M. |
