Marshall, Having only a knowledge of the things about us or within our experiences we, the first grade, who came to school in September, 1935, have found that we can learn much from reading books and our progress has been remarkable. We have learned there's a work time and a play time and that if we do our work well our play will be happier. Our ambition is that we may grow to be worth while citizens and we have learned that kindness, helpfulness, honesty and obedience are some of the ways that will help us most. |
