At the Athletic banquet all members of the team received letters and gold basketballs for having played the required number of games. The manager was also presented a manager's letter and basketball.

The girls' chaperones for the year were Miss Robe and Miss Rife.

The Red and White lassies, clad in their beautiful new suits, were the first girls' team representing Cedarville High to go through the entire season undefeated. They were winners of the Greene County League entitling them to play Ross, the "runners-up", in the Greene County Tournament. Although this was the thirteenth game our team was not superstitious, and defeated Ross for the third time this season.

The C.H.S. sextet went to the tournament with high hopes of coming home with the first place trophy. The game was very close throughout the first half, the score being 13-11 in our favor. After the intermission the girls came back more determined than ever, running the score up to 25-16 during the third period. At the last crack of the gun Cedarville was on top with a wide margin 29-19.

The first place trophy was presented to Cedarville girls. Our school also received the sportsmanship trophy, which every person can feel that he has helped earn. It is hoped that in the years to come Cedarville will receive many more such tokens.

Two members of the team and the manager will be lost by graduation this year. They are as follows: Helen Pemberton, Virginia Townsley, and Rebecca Galloway, the manager.
